I think I'm losing it.

[ FORWARD ]

Family

Requester

All of my prayer requests so far have been for Abigail but I don't think the Lord will mind if I also include myself.  I've never been away from home this long (a month) and I am losing it.  it's not just my house, bed, or puppy.  It's also the fact that I am away, far, far away, from all who encourage me and love me.  We are out here, alone.  I miss my friends and the smiles and laughs they bring to my life.  I don't know how I'm going to do this for two more weeks.  I miss so badly smiling for no reason at all accept that I am with the ones I love at the place I call home.  I just need encouragement and prayer for strength to do what the Lord has brought me here to do and that is to support and encourage my cousins.  But how can i do so if I myself am ddry and weary?  If you have any words of encouragement, they are gladly received.  Thank you.

Tired of crying,

Justine

I suggest finding strength in yourself to live without those "necessities" onto which you rely so much. Asking God for strength will only go so far. I'd like to know what you'd do if your family, friends, and those who encourage you all died at once. Would you "lose it", or continue along the path God has chosen for you? What so many people refuse to realize these days is that God isn't Santa. Santa might give you the present you want for Christmas, but God gives you what you NEED, not what you WANT. Perhaps you need a little bit of solitude in order to value the presence of God. If you don't do anything except pray, you won't get any stronger.

Read the bible and pray before you do to God so he our father can put you in a section of incuragement. Sing hymms to the lord.

thats a tough one. i guess the thing that gets me through those kinda moments is to focus on Gods glory. i know that sounds like a typical comment but join me. take off ur shoes and walk across a lawn barefoot, and then walk across a brick driveway and feel the uneven hard surface across your foot. next just sit down outside anywhere and look at the plants, the flowers, even the weeds or the dirt, and realize that if the Lord took you home tomorrow you wouldn't see any of these things on earth again. all of these things are part of Gods glory here on earth. this helps me stay grounded and out of my troubling thoughts and into Gods glory for a few moments. everything then seems real somehow, and the thoughts i've just escaped seem like a dream. i'm prayin! jesse; lead singer for the zero's
