My cousin, Abby, was born with no small intestine and the doctors told us that she would never live. She's now 5 and was 2 when she received a small intestine transplant. Things were going pretty normally for the last two years. But yesterday she had to be flown back (because her body is rejecting the intestine) to Pittsburgh, PA. Where the experts on this type of transplant are. I found out today that she is now in the ICU and on an extremely rough drug to take her out of rejection, but this drug also has the possibility to cause cancer. She is worse than she has ever been since she received the transplant. Only 5 years old and she has had many surgeries and been faced with death numerous times, please just pray that God would once again bring her through this. And also for peace and comfort for our family, it is very stressful. I very much appreciate and covet your prayers, thank you.
