Take Care!

Being the computer geek designers of CMT, we know how to look around and make sure everyone is having fun and being cool. So just a couple thoughts!

We love all of you; really! And so we get concerned when some of you bring private conversations to a morally tempting level. (No, we don't read everyone's conversations. We do spot check to test the safety factor for everyone though.)

So here is our quarterly plug: CMT is a safer place because 99% of the people on here are really Christians, and they are walking out their faith. However, this is a chat room of sorts, and there is always that weird 1% pretending to be a fellow believer walking their faith, and they are really some old pot belly, bubbly, burping, extra calafragelistic (not sure what that means), weird dude.

So please don't give out your phone number or give out school or home information; unless you really know the person you are talking with outside of this site, or someone you trust really knows the person off this site.Pleeeeeeese............we love you!

A safety message
DATE: 08/17/2007 00:23:09 / MOOD: anxious

Hi Everyone:A friend sent us an email that we have tried to post here several times, but for whatever reason its glitching. In any case we will give you a little synopsis.

Please make sure you really know who you are talking to. The email talked about how information can be gathered by someone over many conversations.

For example:

If in one conversation you give someone your school name, and some weeks or months later you give them your real name, followed by weeks or months where you tell them where your hang-outs are, where you practice sports, some of your friends names, etc etc etc;

And even though someone can pretend to be across country, they could really live in your city and just say they live far-away to make you feel better about giving out information.

Before long though, they pretty much know everything about you.

It's great to make friends online, but please really know who someone is before you tell them too much. In other words if you know them in the real-world thats cool, and if one of your good friends knows them in the real world that might be okay too. But please glorify the Lord by protecting yourself!

The CMT Staff loves ya, and we want you to all stay safe!

Pray for Jake
DATE: 07/11/2007 15:20:08 / MOOD: up

A friend of ours son (Jake) was diagnosed recently with Autism. He was healthy, happy, and connected with love to his mom and dad until his baby shots at 15-months.

After his 15-months shots he started to become disconnected from everyone, and they now fight what will probably be a life-long battle to bring back the love.

We put up a video of Jake's life. You can check it out in our video section. And please pray for Jake!

God Bless,CMT Admin

We have a correction on the Video uploads. We had previously said that you would either use an Embeded Code (from sites like Youtube), or upload the video directly from your computer.

That is incorrect! You need to get the URL code from sites like Youtube, or upload a video directly from your computer.

Remember; it doesn't have to be the URL from only youtube, but the URL from basically any other site or upload the Video from a Video already on your computer.

Peace,CMT Staff
