Yes WE Can

Here we as nation we stand at a cross road in history.We have a chance to change the way the world looks at us.How are we going to honor this hope for a change?Will we be ready to make sacrifices for a better life for all of us?Can we as a people say here am I, let me help, what do you need?Or will we say don’t bother me, this isn’t my problem, leave me be?Can stand together as one nation under God as one people for the first time?We must come together as one nation and take our government back!Put the right people in the right jobs, and if they don’t do what they need to doThen we as a nation must vote them out it’s our responsibility!We must vote out the people that are owned by corporations!We can’t take the low road by laying down on the job any more!This is our country, and we must turn out at the polls like we care! We can put our nation on the right track; we can help the poor help themselves.We can help the children around the world live, with food to eat, And with clean water to drank, and with shelter to live in to stay warm and dry.And most of all, someone to love and to hold them, yes every one needs to be held from time to time!Everyone needs to be loved by someone; every child needs parents to rase them.  So we as a nation need to come together and stamp out hunger here and abroad.We must come together and stamp out pestilence and disease around the world.If we where to unite and come together as one people there is nothing that we can’t do.But we must make some sacrifices, we must share our resources, our minds, our harts, and our hopes, that’s the only that we can right the ship and feel proud about the way we did it.We can do it with love and a caring heart, and not the need to feel pride and arrogance.           &n bsp;             ;            &n bsp;             ;            &n bsp;  Timothy Tree

Why are there so many starving children ?

Until I went to the Crossover festival I didn't know that 18,000 children died from starvation everyday. I thought to myself how could this be ? Look at how much food that we throw away in America, with all the food thrown away we could probably feed most of the hungry in the world. But since we can't just box up our unwanted food and ship it away there are some web sites you can go to and help. One of them is feed just one, they have some neat t-shirts and for every t-shirt that you buy it provides 100 meals for starving children and most are made of organic African cotton. Witch in turn helps employ the local population and therefore they can take care of there family. they use pay-pal or you can use a bankcard. O by the way all the money raised is forwarded on to Feed My Starving Children. If you don't want to buy a t-shirt please go to Feed My Starving Children and give ! They are one of the best organization's out there 95% of every dollar goes toward feeding the children.
